Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami at 2 years old. Ana Polo Gonzalez was raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami at the age of two. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award, and in 2015 ranked as the most popular Spanish-language programming on the air at 4pm in key demos. Polo was born on April 11 of 1959 in Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she earned a bachelor's diploma in the field of political science. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. She earned the PhD in law from University of Miami.
